Credentials Clients Trust.
Training Built on Faith.
The coaching industry has grown fast, and so has the noise. Clients want to know that the person they’re trusting with their goals and their spiritual growth has been trained, supervised, and evaluated by coaches who share their values. A credential answers that question before they have to ask it.
The IBCC certification is the Christian coaching community’s standard of excellence — grounded in professional rigor, biblical worldview, and supervised practice. Our mentor coaching program is the path to earning it, led by ICF-certified coaches with decades of combined experience.
Meet your IBCC hour requirements
Mentor coaching fulfills the supervised hours needed to complete your IBCC certification — the recognized standard for professional Christian coaches.
Learn alongside other Christian coaches
Small group sessions keep you connected to peers who share your values and your commitment to coaching from a faith-centered foundation.
Stand out to the clients who need you most
Christian clients seek coaches who understand their worldview. An IBCC credential confirms your training reflects those values — not just your personal statement.
Learn from ICF-certified coaches
Our mentor coaches hold ICF credentials at the highest levels. You’ll get direct, structured feedback from practitioners who’ve built the careers you’re working toward.
Clients are investing in coaching like never before — and choosing coaches they can verify.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why Mentor Coaching?
Mentor coaching is a critical step in the journey to becoming a highly effective and credentialed coach. It offers a unique opportunity to refine your coaching skills, receive constructive feedback, and deepen your understanding of the coaching process.
Here’s why we believe mentor coaching is essential:
- Personalized Growth: Unlike self-study, mentor coaching provides personalized feedback tailored to your specific strengths and areas for improvement. This one-on-one attention helps you grow faster and more effectively as a coach.
- Credentialing Support: If you’re pursuing certification through the IBCC, mentor coaching is now a required component. Working with a mentor coach not only fulfills this requirement but also ensures you’re fully prepared to meet the high standards that is common across certifying bodies.
- Enhanced Confidence: Regular feedback and guidance from an experienced mentor coach will boost your confidence. You’ll feel more assured in your abilities to handle complex client situations and make a greater impact in your coaching sessions.
- Professional Accountability: A mentor coach provides the accountability needed to stay on track with your development goals. They challenge you to stretch beyond your comfort zone, helping you to achieve breakthroughs in your coaching practice.
- Integration of Christian Values: In the context of ICCA, mentor coaching goes beyond professional development. It integrates your faith into your coaching practice, ensuring that your coaching approach is aligned with Christian principles and values.
- Networking and Community: Mentor coaching also connects you with a network of like-minded professionals. This community can be a source of ongoing support, collaboration, and inspiration as you continue to grow in your coaching career.
Why Choose Group Mentor Coaching?
Group mentor coaching offers a dynamic and enriching environment that brings together diverse perspectives and shared learning experiences. Here’s why group mentor coaching could be the ideal choice for you:
- Collaborative Learning Environment: In a group setting, you benefit not only from the mentor’s expertise but also from the collective wisdom and experiences of your peers. This collaborative approach can spark new insights and innovative solutions to coaching challenges.
- Diverse Perspectives: Group mentor coaching exposes you to different coaching styles, techniques, and approaches. Hearing how others handle similar situations can broaden your understanding and enhance your versatility as a coach.
- Cost-Effective: Group mentor coaching is often more affordable than one-on-one sessions, making it an excellent option if you’re looking for high-quality coaching at a lower cost. You still receive valuable feedback and guidance but at a fraction of the price.
How Much Does It Cost?
Group mentor coaching sessions are priced at $200 per session. Each session lasts for two hours, offering an intensive and focused environment where you can engage with other coaches and gain valuable insights.
Our groups are designed to ensure an interactive experience, with a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 10 participants per group. This size allows for meaningful interaction while ensuring that each participant receives ample attention and personalized feedback.
What is the Cancellation Policy?
To receive a full refund of the registration fee or transfer to a later class, participants must cancel their registration no later than 30 days before the first day of the training. In certain circumstances (determined by AACC staff), cancellations or transfer requests to a later class may be issued after the 30 day window for medical emergencies defined as serious illness, injury or death to you or an immediate family member. Once the group has started, no refunds or transfers will be approved.
How do I get the 2 coaching hours needed to sign up for mentor coaching?
This requirement is simple and does not need to be overthought. After completing Professional Life Coaching 101 and 201, you just need to complete two hours of practice coaching before signing up for mentor coaching.
To do this, go back to the 101 course and review the coaching model video. Then, use that model to coach someone at no charge. You can coach two different people for one hour each, or you can coach the same person in two separate sessions.
These practice sessions are designed to help you become more familiar with what a coaching session feels like and to give you hands-on experience using the coaching model. This will help set you up for a better experience when you participate in one of our mentor coaching groups.
Once you have completed your two hours, you are ready to sign up for mentor coaching.
